In summer we want to shine in all our glory. But what can you do if your skin doesn’t look young and fresh, if it’s too shiny or, on the contrary, if it’s dry, saggy or covered in spots? It’s easy enough to reach into your cosmetic bag and try to correct any imperfections. But will this kind of “makeup” save you? Well, let’s see how not just to cover up problems but to deal with them in a gentle, effective way.
Our skin has two main functions: protective and excretory. That means that no harmful substances can penetrate inside the body through the skin, but from the inside out all the toxins and poisons that can hardly come out through the other excretory systems of our body are excreted. For example, different types of rashes are the residues of various bacteria, viruses, parasites, which are destroyed in the lymphatic system under the skin. Basically, the rash appears on the cheeks, elbows, armpits, inguinal folds, i.e. near the largest lymph nodes. Therefore, it is useless to just smear it on the outside of the skin!
All of the above brings us to a simple conclusion – in order to have fresh, healthy, glowing skin, we need to take care of how we feed, water and cleanse it from the inside and outside.
So, here are the most effective recommendations for taking care of our beautiful skin:
– Cleanse our lymph. You can use special herbal remedies or Siberian cedar oleoresin cleansing for this purpose. In summer you can gather and dry the necessary herbs yourself and drink them instead of tea. Nettle, St. John’s wort, burdock root, oak bark, chamomile and calendula are very useful. It is excellent to clean all the fluids of our body berries – lingonberries, cranberries, sea buckthorn, strawberries.
– Limit the use of deodorants and antiperspirants. All these products are just a trick to disguise the internal problems. After all, if a person sweats heavily, and even with an unpleasant odor, it means that accumulated inside a large amount of dirt, which the skin takes out with sweat. Our skin tries, but we forcibly close its pores, and the dirt goes inside, into the tissues of our body. Not without reason after the mass use of antiperspirants began, the number of cases of breast cancer increased several times! If you can not reject these products, it is better to use natural deodorants, which work as gently as possible, without closing the pores.
– We only feed our skin inside and out with healthy products. The golden rule of biocosmetics applies here: everything that is applied to the skin must be edible! And that’s not for nothing. The synthetic emollients in most creams, for example, stick to the top layer of horny skin scales that should already be peeling off. This makes the skin look smooth, but as a result the stratum corneum thickens, wrinkles deepen, and the skin ages faster, because skin enzymes cannot break down the synthetic substances, so that the dead scales fall off in time! But natural oils, waxes and creams based on them are excellent skin care products. Cedar, linseed and hemp oils are especially effective. For instance, cedar oil contains all known vitamins, micro and macro elements and its healing power surpasses any other oil! And you can make a wonderful “beauty cocktail” out of cedar cake. It is very simple – you need to mix in a mixer cedar pulp, water and honey. The proportions are better to choose to your liking – you can make a cocktail thick and nutritious or more light and refreshing. This cocktail is absorbed by 99% and gives vitamins and energy not only to your skin, but also to your whole body!
– We water our skin with pure and living water. Think about baby skin – it’s 90% saturated with water. The elderly have only 50% of their water left. Try to drink at least 1.5 liters of pure water per day – a glass in the morning, evening and before each meal. Preferably, the water should be live, preferably spring water. Tea, coffee and alcohol, on the contrary, dehydrate our organism and our skin as well. Sun radiation is also one of the most harmful factors of skin dehydration, we should not abuse it and spend whole days in the sun. A little gradual tanning will do no harm.
– Don’t forget to think happy thoughts and be in a good mood! After all, our skin reflects all our worries and stresses, its energy charge and protective properties depend on our mood! Weariness from life is weariness on the skin. Change your life for the better, everything is in your hands!
Good health and good mood to you!
